The most likely problem is that Windows Network File Sharing has changed over the years.

The protocol is SMB aka Samba and you need to configure your file server to allow connections from SMB 1.0 clients (like the Audiotron).

It can be done via registry settings in Windows but you will have to hunt around for instructions (probably is in an Audiotron FAQ).

I feel really stupid, I have come into possession of an AudioTron AT-100. I don't know where to begin to get this sorted out. I have it on my 10.0 home network and it can search for and find 2 servers on my LAN but it can not play files. Ditto on a firmware upgrade from 3.0.0 to 3.2.25. I copied the new firmware files into the shared folder for my music but it will not find the files. Also I can not get the internet test to pass. Can someone give me a step by step or suggest what I am doing wrong?
